If you're eating right now, you should finish your food before going any farther because you may not want to eat after reading this -- ever again. We all have different ideas of what tastes good depending on our cultural traditions and personal preferences. But there are some things we can all agree should never be served to a customer. Whether these items ended up in someone's meal by accident or to entertain a bored cook, here are the 10 most disgusting things people found in their food. Seriously, put down the snack if you're the least bit squeamish.

Condom
When Laila Sultan sat down at a McCormick & Schmick's restaurant in California, she was just expecting the normal seafood fare served there, but she probably should've asked what the soup of the day was. She ordered the clam chowder and sent it back because it was lukewarm. After it was reheated, she took a bite and found something chewy, which she thought was calamari. Reminder: there's no calamari in clam chowder. When she pulled it out of her mouth, she discovered she had been gnawing on a condom. Apparently, condoms are somewhat common ingredients; they've also been found in a burger at an Alabama McDonald's and in T.G.I.Friday's French onion soup.

Human poop
If you've angered the staff at a restaurant and they offer you a complimentary bowl of ice cream, take a big whiff before slurping it down. It could just be a gesture to show that they want to make you happy, but it could also be revenge. After Jessica Whyte and her husband made a big stink at an Australian restaurant arguing with their family about seating (during an important football match, mind you), the restaurant offered them ice cream to keep them quiet. But when they took a bite, they realized there was something foul in the mix. Investigators found that the ice cream had human feces in it. Restaurant management is confident that someone put it there on purpose, which really isn't as comforting as they seem to think.

Chicken head
It's bad enough to go to McDonald's for dinner, but if you're going to go, at least know what kind of fried food is going to come in your bag. When the fast food chain was testing out chicken wings as a new menu item in part of Virginia, one woman got more than she expected. As she divvied up the wings between her children at home, she pulled out a fried chicken head -- comb, beak, eyes, and all. When she told the manager of the store about it, he told her to just bring it back and she could get a refund or another box of chicken. She said she had lost her appetite, but hey, at least that proves they're using real chickens for their meat.

Human blood
A Cracker Barrel in Texas should've been more specific in their menu that the "B" in BLT stood for blood. Susan Mosher ordered the BLT and fries and had already eaten half of the sandwich when she noticed red, non-ketchup liquid on and around her fries. After an investigation by the waitress, it was discovered that a chef in the kitchen had cut himself and left blood on her plate (not the restaurant's policy, by the way). Mosher is a cancer survivor and asked that the chef be tested for blood-borne diseases to calculate her health risks, but Cracker Barrel said they couldn't legally make him take those tests. Instead, they offered Mosher $100 worth of gift certificates to the restaurant. Somehow that doesn't seem like a fair compromise.

Dead frog
Nothing's more refreshing on a hot day than a nice, cold Pepsi, right? Well, only if it's actually Pepsi in that can. A Florida man, Fred DeNegri, took a big gulp of the soda and immediately gagged from the taste. When he poured out the contents, dark sludge came out along with something that looked like "pink linguini." And there was still something larger stuck in there. He turned the can over to the FDA, who determined that the blob inside was a frog or a toad that no longer contained its internal organs. The real mystery remains, though: how did the amphibian get into the sealed can? Pepsi didn't take responsibility or find any other contaminated cans, but you should still be careful if you hear croaking from inside your soda.

Tooth
Candy bars can be tough to chew, so sometimes Mars Candy likes to lend a hand -- well, actually, a tooth. A Texas woman grabbed a Milky Way candy bar and a Coke before heading out the door for a quick road trip. As she was eating the chocolate, she bit into something hard and thought (or hoped, at least) that it was a peanut. It wasn't. She found that a tooth, silver filling and all, had been cooked into the candy bar. This wasn't even the first time Mars had experienced this problem. A couple years before, a British man had found a gold tooth in his Mars Bar. Sounds like a company that needs to provide some better dental insurance for its employees.

Finger
It sounds like a scene from a horror movie: an unsuspecting man in North Carolina brings home some frozen custard and finds part of a human finger in it. But Clarence Stowers hadn't stumbled across some cannibalistic murderer; an employee of Kohl's Frozen Custard had cut off a portion of his finger on a piece of equipment and somehow dropped it into Stowers' bucket of custard. The most disturbing part of the story might be the fact that Stowers actually put it in his mouth. He claims that the custard shop sometimes puts candy in the custard as a treat for customers, so that's what he thought it was when he popped it in his mouth. It must not have tasted like candy, though, because Stowers spit it out and after washing it off, realized the truth.

Dead mouse
Rodents are probably one of the most common problems in the food industry, along with insects, but that doesn't make their presence any less horrifying. Most people prefer their meat to be served without the fur, especially if that meat is chicken. One Popeye's customer was reminded of this when didn't quite get what he ordered. When Tony Hill sat down with his three-piece chicken dinner in Baltimore, he thought he'd get to enjoy it. He even made it through the first piece without any problems. But when he bit into the second piece, he discovered that a mouse had been fried between the breading and the chicken meat. Other incidents of unintentional mice meals include one rodent in store-bought curry sauce, several in loaves of bread, and a severed mouse head in a bag of frozen green beans.

Caterpillar
Here's a tough question: is it better to find something dead in your food or watch a living being wriggle out? A British woman who was trying to eat a little healthier accidentally met up with a caterpillar who also must've been watching his figure. She had purchased Weight Watchers cake snacks that have a lower calorie count than traditional cakes, but when she unwrapped one of them, a baby caterpillar, still very much alive, greeted her. It may just be a brilliant tactic by Weight Watchers. After discovering the insect, the woman didn't consume any of the calories of the snack and says she may not eat cake again. Good move, Weight Watchers.

Snake head
If anyone ever had an excuse to stop eating vegetables, it's Jack Pendleton. The man was eating at a T.G.I.Friday's restaurant in New York and decided to swap out his fries with a side of broccoli. Big mistake. Though he first thought there were some mushrooms mixed in with his broccoli, he soon realized that the gray mass under his veggies had a mouth and eyes. It ended up being the head of a snake. Friday's sent it to a lab where they discovered the head hadn't been cooked. The restaurant hasn't figured out how the uncooked snake noggin found its way onto Pendleton's plate. Needless to say, Pendleton got his meal for free and he'll probably spring for the fries in the future.
