Some time ago I was joking about Rahm Emanuel's run for the Mayor position of Chicago, [link]. My joke, I don't know how many people got it, is that he is not a resident of Chicago, and I live nearby in Warrenville.
This note is more serious. I wish I was the Mayor. Emanuel is fighting Chicago Public School Teachers. I would have been on their side all along. It is unconscionable what the 1% has done to the 99%. This has to end. The only way it is going to end is if leaders, like the Chemistry Teacher, Karen Lewis, stand up to bullies, like Emanuel.
I am not the Mayor, but Karen is a woman that can take care of herself.
I'm loving this.
