In all three states tonight, Biden has been seen as the candidate more voters trust to handle a major crisis. In Arizona, nearly two thirds picked him in voter surveys.
Another election was postponed tonight: the hotly contested and closely watched Republican run-off for the Alabama Senate seat currently held by Doug Jones, a Democrat.

A concern today was how the virus crisis would affect in-person voting. Florida and Arizona, with many mail-in ballots, seeing similar turnout to 2016. Illinois was down.
