Today we can read two superb articles in the NYT, [here], and [here]. Two Nobel Prize winners tell the US President, to increase opportunities for all, not only for the well connected upper classes. The fact that these gentlemen are economists, should increase the urgency, and relevance of their proposals.
I have lately read Obama's speeches, I just hope he follows through, with the good advise here highlighted.
At this point in humanity's path, rightist ideologues will lead us astray. Leave Milton Friedman, and Ayn Rand in their tombs, let them rest in peace.
