Mexico City . Eduardo Valle, The Owl, one of the leaders of the student movement of 1968 and recognized writer, died Thursday in Tamaulipas because of a bad cancer.
The funeral, in a private capacity, shall be made in that border city.
An economist by profession, the Owl was born in Mexico City in 1947. He was a founder, along with Heberto Castillo, the Mexican Party Trabjadores, which had been coordinated with the federal Congress in 1987.
He served as professor and columnist for the newspaper El Universal .
As an active member of the student movement was arrested and imprisoned from 1968 to 1971 in prison Lecumberri.
